Street Scene Enforcement Team
Medway Street Scene Enforcement Officers are a uniformed
team that works towards improving the quality of our
local environment, through investigating and dealing with
complaints both reactively and proactively, relating to:
They aim to remove fly tipping after first inspection, dependant
on size and materials contained in the fly tip.
They have powers to deal with all of the above
issues including fixed penalty notice for environmental
issues like dropping litter.
Medway Street Scene Enforcement Officers also work closely with
the Environmental Enforcement Team and Waste Management, to resolve issues such as
Core hours of work are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, though this
is flexible dependant on current work issues.
Officers also work together with other agencies, including
the police and housing providers.
