Get help paying online

You may experience delays using our online payment services this weekend due to planned maintenance work. Any interruptions to services should last no longer than an hour. We apologise for any inconvenience.

The Medway Council online payment service uses a secure server and encryption to ensure your card details remain secure and confidential. When you use our website, the personal information and card numbers you send us are encrypted, which turns them into bits of code that are securely transmitted to us over the internet.

The information you give us during an online transaction is used only to record your payment. Medway Council has a duty under the Data Protection Act 1998 to ensure that the information is only used for the purpose it is provided for and is not disclosed to anyone else.

It is always a good idea when using a credit or debit card to make an online payment to be aware of other people or anything unusual as you enter your details, as this will help to prevent them being fraudulently misused.

Please note that Medway Council does not accept payment by American Express and cannot accept payment online by Electron or Maestro International cards. If you wish to pay by Electron or Maestro International cards, please phone Customer Contact on 01634 333333, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm.

Please have your payment card and council reference or account number to hand before you pay. The examples below show where on a bill to find these numbers.
