Laying out the equipment

People hiring the hall should let the halls attendant know, approximately a week before the function, how they want the room laid out and the tables and chairs will be set out out for them. Please contact the halls attendant on 01634 256397. The hirer must take responsibility for any decorations they wish to put up in the hall.

Getting into and out of the building

The building will only be staffed during the time specified on the booking sheet. Staff will arrive approximately 15 minutes before the function if the booking is less than three hours and 30 minutes before the function if the booking is three hours or more. The latest finishing time for a booking is midnight, which means the bar (if one has been booked) must close at 11.30pm, the music must stop by 11pm and all the guests must leave by midnight. The hirer then has half an hour to clear away their belongings.

Cleaning up afterwards

Hirers must remove all their equipment, food and personal belongings from the building and leave the building clean and tidy in the time allowed.
