Medway Libraries offer events for all ages from parents and babies to social groups for older people.

It is free to borrow books for up to three weeks at a time but fees and charges apply to some services.

Change to library opening times

From Monday, 24 April 2017 the libraries in Chatham, Gillingham, Strood and Rochester will all close at 6pm Monday to Friday.

Thomas Aveling Library Consultation

We are consulting on the future of Thomas Aveling Community library.

The consultation runs from the Friday, 21 April until 5pm on Thursday 15 June 2017.
