Writing by June Winton

June wrote her poem when she was 12 years old. She had studied "Grey's Elegy" at school and the teacher asked her class to write something similar.

The Stolen Christmas was a story that June had a dream about, and wrote it for her young daughter. June had visited Chatham Dockyard in 1980 and wanted to include it in her story as a memento of how it used to be. June would be proud if they ever sold her book in there. The Stolen Christmas is available to buy as an eBook from www.amazon.co.uk
