Walking groups

Two people walking Walking is the closest thing to perfect exercise. Many people do not realise that regular walking can be enough to keep you healthy. There is a myth that to be fit and healthy you need to join a gym or take up running. But evidence shows that regular brisk walks for 30 minutes on five or more days of the week can give many health benefits. Some of the walking groups meet at library locations.

If you have not been on a walk before, please arrive a few minutes early.
