Fit to Go
Wednesdays, 8pm, Medway Park, £3 per
Taking the first steps towards living an
active life can be difficult. Finding the impetus to do some
exercise and building time into busy lives is easier said than
Fit To Go is our new activity
programme at Medway Park to help you take those first
tentative steps into a fitter, healthier lifestyle.
The weekly programme includes a range of sport
and exercise activities available in Medway sports centres, giving
people a flavour of what they could do on a more regular basis.
Activity sessions will be led by a team of
sports coaches, ensuring participants are supported through the
sessions and have someone to work with on an individual basis if
needed. Coaches will use team sports, group exercise classes
and individual training to show people the different forms
regular exercise can take.
The coaches will offer support between the
weekly sessions. This mentoring support will help
participants commit to the programme should their interest decrease
at any point.
Sessions start on Wednesday, 19 April 2017.
They run from 8pm to 9.30pm and cost £3. All equipment
Fit to Go is being delivered in partnership with the University of Kent Sport.
