After completing your application on GOV.UK, you will need to upload one passport-sized photograph and all relevant documentation including evidence of your disability. You must include your BBIS tracking reference (this can be found in your GOV.UK confirmation email). Upload Blue Badge application supporting evidence.

  • It costs £10 for a Blue Badge (including replacements and renewals). If your application is successful we will contact you to arrange payment.
  • It can take up to eight weeks to process your badge from receiving your application.

If you prefer you can get a Blue Badge application pack at one of our contact points.

Where you can park with a Blue Badge

All Blue badge holders can park for free in any Medway car park for the maximum stay (as specified on the tariff boards).

Lost or stolen Blue Badges

You should report stolen badges to Kent Police. After reporting a stolen badge to the police, or even if you have simply lost it, tell us your Blue Badge has been lost or stolen as soon as possible. You may request a replacement badge. It will normally take four weeks to replace the badge. The design of the Blue Badge has been improved to make it harder to tamper with, copy or forge.
