Borstal B.C is a private club and shares facilities with Borstal Cricket and Petanque clubs.
Borstal Bowls Club caters for men and women throughout the bowling season from late April until late September. There are also games arranged for the blind each year and open competitions held.
At the club there are:
- organised mixed friendly matches throughout the playing season
- a designated club night on Thursdays with roll ups, coaching and socialising
- club competitions during the season, with club teams selected for national and local competitions
