Freedom of information
We previously published information relating to business rates. Following the decision of the first-tier tribunal in the case of Carter v Information Commissioner and ORS (EA/2022/0203 and EA/2022/0181) this data is no longer being made available.
We consider that the data is exempt under Section 31 (1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (law enforcement) as the public interest in releasing the information is outweighed by the risk of prejudice to the prevention of crime.
