Events Medway produce Medway Council's festival and events programme, including Sweeps International Festival of Folk Music and Dance, Rochester Christmas Market, Rochester Dickensian Festival and Armed Forces Day.
We also manage all outdoor event applications. To hire and hold an outdoor event on Medway Council land, you need to submit an application and follow our event planning process.
We work with event organisers holding outdoor events on privately-owned land too. This ensures that they have spoken with all relevant council departments and, where required, present plans to the Medway Safety Advisory Group.
