Our Assets of Community register lists land and buildings that have been nominated and if any assets are put up for sale you have time to prepare a bid to buy the asset. Land or buildings may be considered an asset if they promote social wellbeing or social interests of the local community.
You can’t list:
- residential properties
- land licensed for use as a residential caravan site
- operational land of companies such as utility companies to carry out developments
Land and property records
All land and property in which Medway Council has a legal interest is recorded and maintained using our asset management database and combination of G.I.S. software and Ordnance Survey maps.
The Local Government Transparency Code 2014 requires local authorities to publish details of land and building assets.
