Contractor name change

From 10 March 2025, Swale Heating Ltd will be known as Sureserve Compliance South.

Although the name and branding of this contractor will be changing, we would like to assure you that the services that they provide to Medway Council tenants will stay the same.

As the company transition to their new brand, you may still see some Swale logos on vehicles and uniforms, however, these will be updated over the coming months. We urge residents to continue to allow access for your annual gas service to be completed.

What we do to keep you safe

By law as a landlord, we must check gas appliances that belong to us every year.

Appointments

Our contractor Swale Heating will make appointments and you'll be contacted approximately 6 weeks before your gas safety certificate expires. 

Visits for gas servicing should last no longer than an hour. 

About the appointment

Under the terms of the tenancy agreement you should:

  • allow the contractor access to complete the gas servicing
  • keep your appointments to ensure gas appliances are not faulty
  • ensure your home stays safe for you and others living with you.
