Request a repaint or tell us you no longer need a disabled parking bay

Request a repaint

You can use our online form to request a repaint of a disabled parking bay if:

  • the bay was installed by Medway Council
  • the lines have faded 
  • you're the person who made the original application and live at the property the bay is registered to.

You'll need to give us your:

  • property address and precise location of the disabled parking bay
  • consent for us to check your address on the Council Tax record. If not, you must provide proof of address documents that are dated within the last 12 months. Documents we accept are: 
    • a Medway Council Tax bill
    • utility bills
    • bank statements
  • Blue Badge details, including serial number and expiry date
  • proof of the vehicle registered to your address, such as a copy of the vehicle logbook (V5C) or lease document
  • contact details.

What happens after

We'll review your request and complete address and Blue Badge checks.

If you remain eligible for a disabled parking bay, we'll arrange for it to be repainted and contact you to let you know.

If you're no longer eligible for a disabled parking bay or we have any questions, we'll let you know using the contact details you gave us.

Tell us you no longer need a disabled parking bay

You can use our online form to tell us you no longer need a disabled parking bay if:

  • it was installed by Medway Council
  • you're the person who made the original application for the bay, or are the parent, carer or relative of that person.

You'll need to tell us:

  • the property address and precise location of the disabled parking bay
  • if you consent to us checking your address on the Council Tax record. If not, you must provide proof of address documents that are dated within the last 12 months. Documents we accept are: 
    • a Medway Council Tax bill
    • utility bills
    • bank statements
  • the Blue Badge details, including serial number and expiry date
  • why the bay is no longer needed
  • your contact details.

If you're a parent, carer or relative of someone who has gone into care, you'll need to upload a document to prove they are in care.

What happens after

If the details provided match our records we'll arrange for the bay to be removed and let you know.
