Graffiti is writing or drawings scribbled, scratched or sprayed on a wall or other surface in a public place.
You can make a report by using our online form:
You can also report graffiti by phoning 01634 333 333.
We aim to deal with offensive graffiti within 24 hours of it being reported, Monday to Friday.
If it cannot be removed without damaging the structure or material of the building, however, its removal may take longer.
Graffiti on private property
If the graffiti is on private property, the owner of the property must sign an indemnity form agreeing that we and our contractor will not be liable for any damage caused directly or indirectly as a result of the graffiti removal.
The form needs to be completed before work can begin on any graffiti jobs on domestic or private property.
If the owner of the property does not agree to us removing the graffiti, we are unable to access private land without written consent to remove the graffiti.
