Senior sports sessions are for people aged 60 and over. These sessions are available for anyone to join, even if you do not live in Medway.

You can enjoy tailored fitness classes, and active sports sessions at Medway sports centres.

Costs

If you're not a member, sessions will cost £8.00 per person.

If you have a discounted senior membership, all sessions and swimming are included in your membership.

A senior membership also includes a free functional fitness test to help you keep track of your fitness. To book this or to organise a gym induction please visit centre reception 

Senior sports session timetable

Mondays

Cozenton Park

  • 12.30pm to 1.15pm: senior circuits

Medway Park

  • 9am to 11.30am: badminton, short tennis, table tennis 
  • 10.30am to 12pm: walking football
  • 2pm to 2.45pm: senior aerobics.

Strood Sports Centre

  • 11am to 1pm: sporting Memories club (free funded session).

Tuesdays

Hoo Sports Centre

  • 9.30am to 10.15am: senior fitness
  • 10am to 11.30am: table tennis
  • 11am to 11.45am: senior fitness.

Strood Sports Centre

  • 10am to 12pm: short mat bowls, badminton, short tennis and table tennis
  • 10.30am: chair fit
  • 11am to 12pm: walking football.

Wednesdays

Cozenton Park

  • 10.30am to 11.15am: senior circuits

Medway Park

  • 9am to 11.30am: badminton, short tennis and table tennis.

Hoo Sports Centre

  • 1pm to 1.45pm: flex and rehab.

Thursdays

Strood Sports Centre

  • 10am to 12pm: badminton, short tennis and table tennis
  • 1pm to 3pm: walking cricket with Kent Cricket including teas.

Fridays

Hoo Sports Centre

  • 10am to 10.45am: senior fitness  
  • 11am to 12noon: table tennis.

Strood Sports Centre

  • 11am to 12pm: walking football
  • 1.30pm: chair yoga.

Medway Park

  • 9am to 11.30am: badminton, short tennis and table tennis.
