Automated external defibrillator (AED) training
AEDs have been proven to increase the chances of survival from cardiac arrest. This course teaches you how to:
- effectively give cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- use an AED

AEDs can now be found in workplaces, public buildings and public spaces.
Using an AED is part of the guidelines for CPR in the UK and Europe. They are vital to improving the chance of survival from cardiac arrest, in some cases up to 75%.
