Medway Libraries' members have access to current and historical magazine collections from home using your Medway library card or in any Medway library.

PressReader

Use your library account to sign into PressReader. This will allow you to read online or download from an international collection of magazines and newspapers from more than 120 countries.

PressReader drops its user accounts every few weeks and you will need to sign in again.

Or you can access the PressReader collection online via the 'extras' option on the Libby App. You can also use your library account to access our collections of eBooks, magazines, audio books, comics and graphic novels.

Magazines and graphic novels have now joined our eBook and audiobook collection on Libby.

To find magazines on the Libby App:

  1. press the magnifying glass symbol
  2. press the 3 vertical dots near the top of the screen
  3. select ‘format any’
  4. select ‘magazines’
  5. select ‘search’.

If you want a magazine on a particular subject your next step is to:

  1. select ‘refine’
  2. select ‘subject’
  3. scroll through the subjects to make your selection.

To find graphic novels in the Libby App:

  1. press the magnifying glass symbol
  2. press the 3 vertical dots near the top of the screen
  3. select ‘subjects all’
  4. scroll through the subjects and select comic and graphic books.

JSTOR has made nearly 500,000 articles from more than 200 journals freely available to the public. This 'Early Journal Content' includes journal content on JSTOR published prior to 1923 in the United States and prior to 1870 outside the United States.
