Come and have a coffee and a chat with the family support team. Team members all care for at least one autistic young person and some are autistic themselves.

No need to book, just turn up.

Children not in school can accompany parents and carers but you are responsible for them at all times.

Autism Apprentice CIC - advice clinics

  • Location: via Zoom or telephone calls

  • Session length: 45 minutes.

We can offer you support with:

  • working with professionals
  • emotional support
  • diagnosis process
  • communication
  • isolation
  • food/diet difficulties
  • mental health difficulties
  • routines.

We can also offer educational support, including help with:

  • school induced anxiety
  • Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • in some cases, supporting you during school based meetings (subject to our availability).

Ninja Warriors - Get Up and Go Ninjas! (SEN session)

  • Location: Dockside, Chatham
  • When: every first Saturday of the month
  • Cost: £9.95.

Those attending will have:

  • full park access and lower capacity sessions
  • slow rules, quieter music, and no loud announcements
  • free carer per activity user
  • maximum 2 siblings per activity user
  • maximum 4 activity users per carer
  • same 5+ age rules as regular sessions.

Everyone must respect the slow rules at all times.

For a free carer place, one of the following documents must be shown at reception:

  • Disability Living Allowance (DLA) letter
  • bank statement showing DLA allowance, PIP, EHCP
  • letter from a medical professional.

SOAR Trampoline Park

  • Location: Medway Distribution Centre, Gillingham
  • When: Every other Thursday
  • Time: 4pm to 6pm
  • Cost: £12.50 (including carer). Additional jumpers are £12.50 each.

This quieter, relaxed session lets adults and children with additional needs explore trampolining with their carers.

With less than half of the capacity for regular sessions, reduced volumes to the music, and no large equipment running, it provides a stress-free environment for safe jumping.

Carers jump for free and are included in the booking. Siblings are also welcome to join these SEN sessions. Jumpers must be over 4 years of age.

Jumpin Fun Inflatable Park

  • When: The last Sunday of each month, and every Tuesday throughout the summer holidays
  • Time: 9am to 10am

Woodlands Warriors Wheelchair Rugby League

The Woodlands Warriors Wheelchair Rugby League:

  • offer free 4 trail sessions before monthly payments
  • run Wheelchair Rugby League sessions that are inclusive for all people from ages 10 to adult who are able to self propel and understand instruction
  • supply all equipment.

Sensory swim for children aged 3 to 12 includes general splash around, water based games, and building water confidence.

Hydrotherapy sessions for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) children

  • When: Thursdays
  • Time: 6pm to 7pm
  • Cost: £3.65 per session (no charge for parents or carers).

The disability swim session is held in the hydrotherapy pool for all swimming abilities and levels of disability. A chair hoist is available to assist people in entering and exiting the pool when necessary.

For those over the age of 13. There are 10 spaces available for this session. You must book sessions in advance online or by phone: 01634 333 933 or 01634 333 948.
