"I am delighted to be Director of People at Medway and proud to be part of the journey we are on. We have made tremendous strides with our improvement programme since Ofsted first inspected in 2019 and my sincere appreciation to everyone who has been on our journey with us. Following our final inspection in July 2023, we are now rated ‘Good’.
"Medway has a highly motivated, committed and stable leadership team; a well-managed ‘front-door’ and early help service and a good partnership safeguarding approach. All of which put children, young people, and families and carers at the centre of everything we do.
"I am also proud that Ofsted highlighted the council’s Children-friendly Medway programme. Medway remains focused on putting children at the heart of everything that we do. I know that our staff will continue to develop further the excellent work to date to improve the services provided for children and families across Medway.

We have worked with the children and young people of Medway to develop the Child-friendly Medway initiative, and exciting events take place in Medway every week.
