Support for young people
As a young person there are some important tools you can use to feel less lonely.
For example, you can:
- tell someone you trust how you feel
- get support from others who feel the same such as on the Childline message boards
- track your moods in a mood journal
- get positive ideas on how to lift and boost your mood
- get advice on building confidence and self esteem
- join a club or group to meet new people with Medway Youth
- contact Tackling Youth Loneliness to understand how you're feeling
- view The Mix for loneliness support
- not be so hard on yourself
- browse our Child-friendly Medway events and activities.
Childline has a lot of resources that can help including how to:
- make friends
- bounce back from bullying
- be assertive
- cope with anxiety
- take care of yourself.
