Garden Waste Subscription
A new ‘opt in’ kerbside subscription garden waste service is being introduced from spring 2025. We're looking for feedback to help us shape the final design of the service.
The survey closes on Monday 21 October.
Duty to Consult: felling street trees
All local councils must consult residents on the felling of street trees where no exemptions apply. Where we have a duty to consult, the details of the trees we are proposing to fell, including the reason, will be published on our felling street trees webpage.

School Streets scheme
We're proposing 9 new School Streets across Medway. We want your feedback to make sure our proposals meet the needs of the community.

We want to update the homelessness prevention and rough sleeping strategy to ensure it meets the changing needs of people in Medway until 2030.

Crest Infant School nursery lease
We're consulting on a proposal for Crest Infant School to lease out their nursery to a private provider.
The consultation closes on Sunday 10 November.

School term dates 2026 to 2027
We're consulting on term dates for the 2026 to 2027 school year. This consultation is available to all headteachers and governors. However, we would like a single combined response from each governing body and its associated schools.
This consultation closes on Sunday 15 December.

Community Safety Partnership

Local Plan
Our new Local Plan consultation closed on Sunday 8 September 2024. You could have your say on proposed options for development and areas of policy in Medway.
Our draft Local Plan will be published next year.
