Discover the stories of some of the most famous teddies including Paddington, Rupert and Pooh Bear at a new exhibition at Eastgate House.

The temporary exhibition in the Rochester Room at the Grade I listed townhouse, which runs from Saturday, 1 July until Sunday, 10 September, will include some collectable bears. 

Children can also take part in a free family trail, Find Tudor Ted.  

Eastgate House is open between 10am and 5pm Wednesday to Sunday, last admission 4.15pm. Admission fees apply.

Bring along a picnic and your favourite bear for the Teddy Bear’s Picnic theatre show at 11am and 2.30pm on Sunday, 23 July.

Rah Rah Theatre Company’s fun 55-minute show, in the beautiful gardens of Eastgate House, features puppets, songs and dancing. Ideal for children aged two to six. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £4 for children. Ticket holders can enjoy free admission to the Treasured Teddies exhibition and trail. Advanced booking recommended.
