Businesses across Medway are being encouraged to apply for a grant to help improve their sustainability and environmental credentials.
The Partners for Green Growth scheme offers small and medium-sized businesses throughout Medway the opportunity to apply for financial support of up to £2,500.
The grant can be used to help offset some of the costs associated with sustainable initiatives. This will enable Medway’s businesses to make meaningful progress towards their environmental goals and help contribute towards Medway’s climate agenda.
The scheme is part of Medway Council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund and closes in March 2025.
Businesses from all sectors can apply, however, the business must be an SME in Medway and have a valid Net-zero Audit certificate or a detailed decarbonisation plan.
Businesses in Medway can apply for a free Net-zero Audit, which will provide recommendations on how to decarbonise your business. Find out more about the Green Audit and how to apply.

Cllr Lauren Edwards, Medway Council’s Portfolio Holder for Economic and Social Regeneration and Inward Investment, said: “This initiative is a great example of a win-win situation. We are able to help SMEs across Medway move towards a more sustainable future, which in turn contributes towards Medway’s wider climate agenda. We all know the importance of sustainability in business, and this will only increase over time – I would encourage any eligible business in Medway to apply for this fantastic scheme.”
